Vas makes a stand for independent retailers
Independent forecourt retailer, Moiz Vas, is making a stand for independent retailers at Retail’s Best, the fresh, new concept in events that he has developed, which takes place on 29 May this year at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
Says Vas: “The hot topics of conversation amongst retailers at the moment are equipment, accounting, financing and energy saving. With that in mind we will be introducing a ‘smart exhibition’, inviting around 15 relevant suppliers to work with us to engage with retailers and address these issues.â€
The first five exhibitors to be announced are:
Fairbanks – one of the global leader in wet-stock management
Simply Coffee – providing the complete coffee solution for c-stores
EK Williams – nationwide retail accounting specialists
Country Choice – the leading supplier of in-store bakery and retail foodservice products
Henry Howard Finance – one of the leading independent asset finance house and brokerage specialising in supplier finance and supporting the SME marketplace
More exhibitors will be announced in due course.
Retail’s Best is also pleased to announced that AIR-Serv will be a sub-partner at the event, joining a host of other key players in the industry who will be the main partners, such as fuel supplier (Gulf), symbol group (Londis), EPOS provider (MICROS) and pump & dispenser solutions (Tokheim) plus the event’s official supporter, the Petrol Retailer’s Association (PRA).
Clive Steel, managing director of AIR-Serv, says: “We were looking for an event to support where we could spend quality time with people that we already do business with and meet potential new customers. Retail’s Best is something different and fits the bill perfectly. We are delighted to support this event, which has the support of such high-profile partners and high caliber retailers.”
Adds Vas, “Retail’s Best is an event ‘by retailers, for retailers’ with the focus on helping suppliers to improve their business with us by better understanding our operational needsâ€.
