Petrol Retailers Association
The aim of the Petrol Retailers Association (PRA) is to serve the needs of independent fuel retailers in an ever-changing market place where the pressures of increased competition are felt daily and where the impacts of legislation are more keenly felt than ever.
We have an experienced team of people that fully understands the fuel retailing sector, is committed to working with the membership to improve their competitiveness and bottom-line profitability, and can help to ease the burden in some key areas of managing a fuel-retailing business in the 21st century.
The PRA, led by Brian Madderson, offers advice and services that can assist and enhance your current business. We ensure that we are at the forefront of our industry, making sure that as a Member you are kept informed of the key issues affecting the sector, and more importantly what we are doing about them on your behalf through high-level campaigning. We communicate with you on our activities through this web site, our regular E-Newsletters, and at our programme of regional Forums and Roadshows throughout the year.
We also seek to bring forward advice and services that benefit our Members and that may not be available to non-members. One such example is “BigOil powered by Vianetâ€, a fuel management & intelligence tool which was re-launched in August 2013 where PRA members can benefit from discounted subscription fees. We strive in all that we do to ensure that membership provides real value for money.
Finally, although the PRA is an independent Trade Association focused purely on fuel retailing, it does benefit from the support of the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI), which has been supporting the motor industry since 1913 and therefore in 2013 celebrated its centenary!
