Forecourt Trader – Retail’s Best 2015

Forecourt Trader – Retail’s Best 2015

The unique and exciting business networking event that’s run ‘by retailers for retailers’

This is the third in a series of Retail’s Best events, which are proving to be a fantastic opportunity for networking and making new connections. Retailers and suppliers alike are reporting business growth as a direct result of attending an event.

Since its launch last year, Retail’s Best has already built the reputation for being a business networking event that’s different from any other – something that’s special, something that’s exciting and something that’s unique. That’s because it’s created and run by retailers, for retailers. Its unique formula is proving a magnet for key suppliers to work together and the names of previous partnering companies read like a who’s who list in convenience and forecourt retailing, including AIR-serv, Bestway, Budgens, Certas Energy, Jet, Jordon Group, Londis, Micros, Oracle, Subway and Tokheim who describe the event as “one of the best networking events of the year”.

Retailer-led debate
Last year around half of the top 50 independent forecourt retailers in the UK attended Retail’s Best. Inspired by its unique concept, top retailers including Euro Garages, MPK Garages and HKS Group will be leading a lively debate at this November’s event, which will focus on branded versus nonbranded solutions to drive independent retail footfall. They will be drawing from real life experiences to inform and inspire fellow retailers and forecourt operators.

Retail’s Best was the vision of Moiz Vas, an entrepreneurial retailer whose family owns and operates convenience stores and forecourt sites in London and Norfolk.

Moiz explains: “I saw the potential to create a brand of events that would develop closer ties between operators, owners and suppliers to work in partnership to drive innovation and grow their businesses.” Retail’s Best 2015 takes place on 26 November at Chateau Impney, Worcestershire. Attendance is by invitation only, with each event typically attracting a guest list of around 100+ decision makers, who own independent retail businesses and forecourts. Held in the evening, away from the day-to-day distractions of business, the event includes private break-out sessions plus a
networking drinks reception, gala dinner and an exclusive ‘smart exhibition’.
